We stayed at this charming cottage for a family vacation and it was perfect for three generations. The location was excellent for exploring the Gower peninsula, including the beautiful Caswell Bay just a short walk away. We found the local bus service to Mumbles very convenient, avoiding the need for multiple transfers. The cafes at The Mumbles were a treat, particularly the coffee shop in the arcade and Theos cafe in the old Methodist chapel. The cottage itself had all the necessary amenities, including laundry and a well-equipped kitchen. The garden was safe for the kids, and the nearby farm shop was a bonus.
Couldn't recommend this place more.

Our stay at Murton Farm Cottage was absolutely fantastic. The location was perfect - just a short walk to the stunning Caswell Bay beach and a convenient local bus service to Mumbles. The cottage itself was cozy and well-equipped, and we especially loved the farm shop nearby. The Gower peninsula is a hidden gem, with beautiful scenery and plenty of activities to enjoy. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Despite a slight musty smell when we first arrived , it quickly dissipated once we opened the windows and enjoyed the warm sunshine. I would highly recommend staying at Murton Farm Cottage for a happy and memorable holiday.

Lovely place, but who needs internet or a barbecue anyway? It's all about the perfect location, cozy cottage, and friendly hosts. Just had to air it out a bit. Good times.

Great location with beautiful beaches within walking distance. Convenient local bus service to nearby Mumbles. Enjoyed the cafes at The Mumbles, especially the coffee shop in the arcade and Theos cafe. Delicious ice creams at Joes. The RNLI station and cream tea at Verdis or Pier Cafe were recommended with fantastic views over Swansea Bay. The Gower peninsula is a must-visit, and the cottage was well-equipped, cosy, and located perfectly. The farm shop was a bonus.
Felt like home, no complaints whatsoever.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Murton Farm Cottage, and it was perfect for our three-generation family. the cottage provided ample space for everyone to have a little privacy, yet still feel cozy and comfortable together. We loved exploring the stunning Gower peninsula and the cottage's location allowed us to easily reach beautiful beaches and scenic walks. the local bus service to Mumbles on Wednesdays and Fridays was a great convenience, as it saved us from having to take multiple buses. the village itself is charming, with friendly locals and several cafes to enjoy. We particularly loved the coffee shop in the arcade and Theos cafe, which is housed in an old Methodist chapel along with a fantastic craft and art shop. For a sweet treat, we indulged in delicious Joes ice creams. the cottage had all the necessary amenities, including laundry facilities and a well-used dishwasher. the garden area was secure for our little ones to play, and we even had the bonus of a farm shop on Fridays and Saturdays. Our hosts were very welcoming, and we couldn't have asked for a better location for our stay. Highly recommended!
